Biography
Maria Rotger has a law degree, a postgraduate diploma in legal translation, and trained in acting at the NYC Atlantic Acting School and the Barcelona Performing Arts School.
At sixteen, she wrote a youth story while enhancing her interest in writing in her diaries.
She combined her law and acting studies with training in creative writing and weekly meetings with her group of writers at Barcelona’s Ateneu while writing poetry and short stories.
Maria promotes natural and personal beauty, born out of self-love and pleasure in self-care.
Since she was a teenager, she has been passionate about personal care, cosmetics, scents, lotions, and oils, along with sports, healthful nutrition, and restful sleep.
Rotger writes in English, Spanish, and Catalan.
She also creates stage and screenplays.
Her scripts and short films have been selected and awarded at international film festivals on various occasions.
She has received the Award for Best TV Series at the Prix Royal Paris Screenplay Awards screenplay competition and the Award of Merit for Best Female Filmmaker at the Vegas Movie Awards film festival.

Biografía
Maria Rotger es licenciada en derecho, posgraduada en traducción jurídica y formada en interpretación en la Atlantic Acting School de NYC y en el Col·legi de Teatre de Barcelona.
Con dieciséis años, escribió una historia juvenil mientras perfeccionaba su interés por la escritura en sus diarios.
Combinó sus estudios de derecho e interpretación con formación en escritura creativa y reuniones semanales con su grupo de escritores en el Ateneo Barcelonés, a la vez que escribía poesía y relatos cortos.
Maria promueve la belleza natural y personal, nacida del amor hacia uno mismo y del placer en el cuidado personal.
Desde adolescente, ha sido una apasionada del cuidado personal, la cosmética, los aromas, las cremas y los aceites, además del deporte, la alimentación saludable y el sueño reparador.
Rotger escribe en castellano, catalán e inglés.
También escribe guion y dramaturgia.
Sus guiones y cortometrajes han sido seleccionados y galardonados en festivales de cine internacionales en diversas ocasiones.
Ha recibido el Premio a Mejor Serie de TV en el concurso de guiones Prix Royal Paris Screenplay Awards y el Premio al Mérito como Mejor Cineasta Mujer en el festival de cine Vegas Movie Awards.
